This model takes advantage of the gradient
exhaust temperature produced by the lower air chamber design in all Belt-o-matic
dryers. The most useable exhaust air is identified and recycled for best
efficiency. This also produces an air up/air down pattern for gained
moisture consistency. This model can be used independently or in combination
as the final stage unit in a multiple stage system.
Product is loaded by various spreading
mechanisms at the beginning of the conveyor and discharged at the
opposite end.
There is only one
control for product depth. Airflow velocity, resident time, and air
temperature can be set to a wide range of adjustments. Normal operating
temperatures are from 10°f heat rise to 240°f. Special applications
can be constructed for up to 400°f. |

| Air velocity through the bed
can be set from 25 fpm to 200 fpm. Normal operating range is 100 to 150
fpm. Percentage of exhausted airflow verses recycled airflow can be altered
by the exhaust fan speed.
These models are sold as all heat or heat and cool. Heat from the cool section can be recycled for gained efficiency with certain products. Standard widths are 2', 6', and 8' and standard lengths are in increments of 12'. Custom widths and lengths are available. These models are usually selected for drying of various food and feed
products for applications with a small percentage of moisture removal
or low final moisture content. This model is also selected for heating
and roasting of various food and feed products and as a final stage
unit in a Multiple-stage/multiple-pass system when a higher degree
of controllability and quality is necessary. |
